Homes Victoria and the Department of Treasury and Finance have announced the launch of the Affordable Housing Partnerships Program (AHPP) Round live from 14 May 2024.

The AHPP Round will seek to deliver approximately 900 to 1,300 Affordable Housing dwellings.
Projects in both Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria will be accepted in the AHPP Round.  The Round focuses on Projects across Victoria, which are substantially progressed and for which Respondents can commence construction by 30 September 2026 and complete construction by 31 March 2029 (with staged-developments to be completed by 30 June 2030). Timely construction commencement will be supported by a Streamlined Planning Process including new clauses 53.22 and 53.23 of the Victorian Planning Provisions.
The AHPP Round will be run through a two-stage process with an Expressions of Interest (EOI) process followed by a Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
